Clinical Use

The STD-X Polycheck Autoimmune Panel is helpful in the diagnosis of autoimmune diseases. By determining multiple antibodies simultaneously, the sensitivity of the test is increased. The panel includes antibodies of diagnostic and prognostic significance for such diseasesób as: systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), syndrome of dryness (Sjögrena), systemic scleroderma, limited form of scleroderma, polymyositis, anti-synthetase syndrome, overlap syndromes, autoimmune hepatitis, chronic cirrhosis of the liveróHepatic cirrhosis, autoimmune vasculitis (Wegener's granulomatosis, Churg-Straus syndrome, microscopic vasculitis), mixed connective tissue disease. These disorders have orchestrated, sometimes nonspecific symptoms, so the determination of a panel of antibodies is helpful in their diagnosis.
