Ganglioside antibodies (GM1, GM2, GM3, GD1a, GD1b, GT1b, GQ1b) IgG IgM

The test detects antibodies in the IgG and IgM classes against gangliosides, a group of complex lipidsós (fatsós) thatóre integral components of nerve tissue. It is performed in the diagnosis of Guillain-Barre syndrome, multifocal motor neuropathy, sensory neuropathy and Fisher's syndrome, as well as other pathologies accompanied by disruption of the integrity of nerve fibers.
