Indications for the study
The ImuPro50 test is a test performed in patients in whom the doctor suspects the presence of a type III food allergy, i.e. IgG - dependent. Allergic symptoms occur when the immune system reacts abnormally to selected food components (usually harmless for healthy people) - it identifies certain substances as a potential threat and tries to neutralize them (while producing specific IgG antibodies).

The ImuPro50 test involves taking a blood sample from the patient and assessing the concentration of IgG class antibodies specific for 44 food allergens. The test requires no preparation.
Contraindications to the test
The test can be performed in adults, as well as in children over 1 year of age. Contraindications to the test include hypo or agammaglobulinemia, monoclonal gammopathy, chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and the use of immunosuppressive or steroid drugs.
